What’s new wordpress 3.2?

On July 4th, Matt Mullenweg announced the release of the most anticipated WordPress 3.2, it’s the faster release and have much of improvements so I suggest everyone upgrade to it and now I like show the new features here. so lets check out what is exciting in wordpress 3.2
New Admin Layout
We are seeing another major refresh of the design, it’s re-designed and up to the stable version is fully is HTML5, I think it’s excellent and more beautiful and make every thing much more simpler cleaner.
Distraction Free Writing
In wordpress 3.2, new full screen writing panel seems perfect to make the writing experience more lightweight and calming, it’s now available from HTML mode too, I love this feature and I think maybe it will be the most exciting and visible update to the wordpress 3.2
New Default theme – Twenty Eleven
There are a new, exciting, powerful and stunning new default theme of wordpress 3.2 named Twenty Eleven – 2011.
- New features of this theme are:
- Have 2 colors (Light, Dark).
- Theme options page for control with colors and layouts.
- New page templates (Show case, Sidebar).
- Rotating header images (Random images, on each page).
- Post format support.
- HTML 5 inside.
WordPress Improvements
Things are faster now, wordpress 3.2 is much improved in terms of speed and performance, this will help bloggers to be indexed in google and other search engines.
I will show group of updates and improvements of wordpress 3.2:
- WordPress has new minimum system requirements PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0
- New upgrade system that changed files only upgrades can be completed without major changes to core.
- Drop outdated technologies in order to make the core faster.
- Possibilities include PHP Lazy loading.
- A patch to make the wordpress admin menu load faster.
- FTP improvements to make upgrades faster.
- Internet explorer 6 will no longer be supported, wordpress ia made to work with modern browsers so if you visit your dashboard on outdated web browser, wordpress 3.2 will let you know there’s newer version available.
- Added more links to the admin bar to make it even more useful.
